Exeter UFO Festival
Okay, ok. We all heard about it as kids. Betty and Barney Hill…they were abducted…yada, yada. But did you know there is way more?
The Exeter UFO Festival is based around the “Incident at Exeter” which took place in 1965 and it had nothing to do with Betty and Barney Hill. Turns out, Exeter, NH has a long and infamous history with UFOs and Aliens and folks from all over the world come here to study these encounters. There was certainly a serious component to the festival as well. With speakers sharing their experiences of encounters and enthusiasts gathering to share the latest information, there was something for everyone at the Exeter UFO Festival.One of the coolest things about this festival is that it is a fundraiser for the local Kiwanis Club. It is the neatest thing that the Kiwanis run, man, and put on the entire festival. Talk about a unique and open minded idea for a fundraiser!
